A world of knowledge
Our offer state-of-the-art learning and research opportunities. You will have access to one of the largest university library systems in Atlantic Canada. Librarians will provide guidance and help as you work on class projects and research.
Fitness and recreation opportunities
As a student, you will have full access to , our primary fitness and recreation facility. You can also choose from the many offered throughout the year, from traditional sports like basketball, soccer, hockey and volleyball to activities such as rock climbing, inner-tube water polo, broomball and dodgeball. Or you can try out for one of our that compete regionally against other university teams in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference and nationally in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS).
Our commitment to safety
We are committed to providing a safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Security Services operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing vehicle, bicycle and foot patrols across campus.
Sustainability
We strive for sustainability in both practice and theory. The Office of Sustainability works to incorporate sustainability concepts and criteria into all major university functions. And our College of Sustainability, a first in Canada, offers a common place for the study of sustainability-based problems.
